Adelaide Neurodivergent Crew - Social get together

Adelaide Neurodivergent crew is a safe space for Adelaide neurodivergent adults 18+ to get together, plan activities and socialise. We welcome all neurodivergent individuals looking to meet others alike and create a community where we can be ourselves and just have a good time!

Feel Free to bring along games, activities, art and craft, snacks and drinks to share at our North Adelaide community centre meet ups. Or just come along to chat and socialise, we are sure you will meet others with similar interests!

The group’s goals are:

  • to provide neurodivergent adults who struggle with social skills an opportunity to socialise in an environment where others share similar struggles and will be more understanding
  •  to provide a space for neurodivergent adults to socialise in person on a regular basis in the city of Adelaide, which can bring a sense of safety and familiarity
  • to provide an opportunity for neurodivergent adults to exercise some independence or semi-independence
  • to ensure a safe space for neurodivergent adults with other intersecting marginalised identities as well, eg. LGBTQIA+, disability, race.
  • to be neurodiversity affirming.

Some types of neurodivergence include Autism, ADHD, Tourettes, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, CPTSD, ASPD, NPD, DID & OSDD, Sensory Processing, Dyscalculia, Dysgraphia, Bipolar, Epilepsy, OCD, ABI, Tic Disorders, Schizophrenia, HPD, Down syndrome, Synesthesia, and so on.
