Fear

Gregg Mitchell

Fear is a new artwork celebrating Adelaide's vibrant East End and its live music culture. The work, by Greg Mitchell, is a graphic interpretation from a digital sample of an Exploding White Mice song.

Exploding White Mice were an iconic Adelaide based 80's punk band that played at venues across Adelaide including the Crown and Anchor, Exeter, Producers and Austral hotels. The design is an interpretation from a digital sampling of the track 'Fear' acknowledging glitches and irregularities from the original analogue recording throughout the design through the variations in the mark making of the design this reflecting the energy and rawness of live punk music.
