Endless Hoist

Oakey, Steven Bellosguardo, Frances Rogers

Located on the rooftop of the Hindley Street Power substation, Endless Hoist is a gold-plated sculpture made of mild steel measuring approximately 5 meters tall by 1.2 meters wide with an accompanying geometric mural to accentuate and draw attention to the sculpture. Endless Hoist references the iconic South Australian monument to the Aussie backyard, the Hills Hoist, 'endlessly' repeated to create a towering geometric form reaching towards the sky.
