What to expect

Adelaide has long been a melting pot of diverse cultures. The Adelaide Mosque, built between 1888-1889, is the oldest permanent mosque in Australia while Sturt Street had its very own Afghani herbalist and healer in the 1920s. The Prince Albert Hotel, which is still servings brews today, was established in 1851 by Ludwig Dreyer, a German settler. This walk offers a glimpse of the multi-cultural history of Adelaide through our built heritage.
